Post 2: Groundworks
Hi, welcome to our second of several blog posts detailing the construction of our brand new purpose built dental facility. We’re nearing completion of the groundworks, site shaping and rock base ready for the piles, footings and steelwork installation. Optima Healthcare Group are keeping us well informed with a time lapse camera on site (see photos below) and regular updates. We’re on track for a September 2019 move in date. Our patients and staff are very excited!
On another note, we have discovered that there was a development application submitted a few days ago for a new Woolworths shopping centre directly diagonal from our dental site. Fabcot Pty Ltd, Woolworths own in house property division, has lodged the DA and is planning on a completion date of halfway through next year. This is massive news for us, as if it is approved, it will immensely increase our own exposure and bring significant traffic past our surgery.
